2- Public-private Partnership (PPP) Initiative - Southern Agricultural Growth Corridor of Tanzania (SAGCOT) is a very well-known transformative program in Tanzania’s agriculture sector that aims to reform, strengthen and upgrade the current agriculture scenario of the nation into a highly productive, commercially viable and environmentally sustainable industry.
To achieve that the program is focussing on areas including Commercializing Smallholder Farming, Private Investment, Value Chain Integration, Technological Enhancement and Sustainable Agriculture in Tanzania.

3- Foreign Investment in Pipeline - Over the span of many years, Tanzania has attracted many foreign investments that aim to re-build its agriculture sector and make it highly competitive in the world and in Africa as well.
Some of the notable ones are,
● UAE agribusiness Al Dahra’s $ 100 million in Tanzania's farming sector - This initiative was announced in February 2026 where the Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA) - a government's lead and supported agency responsible for promoting, facilitating, and supporting investments. and Al Dahra Group - a 195 founded organization that is a global leader in modern agriculture, sustainable approach and bringing in newer technologies to the agrivuisness sector. Both have signed an MoU for a $100 million agricultural investment. The collaboration will focus on developing commercial-scale, irrigated farms, beginning with 10,000 hectares. Al Dahra will bring its global expertise in sustainable farming, while TISEZA will provide regulatory support and land access. The initiative aims to boost Tanzania's food security, support smallholder farmers, and contribute to the government's target of 10% annual growth in the crop subsector by 2030.
